Sanctuary Centers has announced a $2 million award from the James P. & Rebecca T. Craig Foundation to support the Santa Barbara, California, nonprofit’s new center for health and Housing. The grant will help expand integrated behavioral health care, primary medical services and permanent supportive housing for individuals living with serious mental illness and substance use disorders. Opening in winter 2026, the five-story center will include 34 supportive housing apartments and coordinated care services in one location.
