Colorado State University receives $12M to expand dual degree nursing program

Colorado State University in Fort Collins has announced a $12 million gift from an anonymous private family foundation to support its 3+2 dual degree nursing program. The gift will fund a state-of-the-art teaching facility in the CSU Health Network and Medical Center, where students will begin clinical coursework in 2029. Developed in collaboration with Colorado State University Pueblo’s School of Nursing, the accelerated program prepares students to earn bachelor’s and master’s degrees in five years. The investment advances efforts to address Colorado’s nursing shortage, expands training capacity, and completes the program’s $17.5 million fundraising goal for academic facilities.
