The Pugh Family Foundation has awarded a $3.1 million grant to the Lafayette Parish School System in Lafayette, Louisiana, to expand the Accelerated Campus Excellence school turnaround program. The award was matched by a $1 million commitment from LPSS. The investment extends the ACE model through the 2028-29 school year, adding middle school students at the new Paul Breaux preK-8 campus while continuing support at the Alice Boucher elementary school. The funding builds on measurable academic and behavioral gains, strengthening whole-child education for more than 1,100 high-needs students across Lafayette Parish.
