California State University, Fullerton has announced a $3.5 million commitment from alumnus Douglas G. Stewart (‘87) to endow the dean of the College of the Arts position and expand student programming and opportunities. The award will support the Dean’s Fund for Excellence, providing master classes, workshops, scholarships, conference travel and research opportunities. Stewart also contributed $100,000 for immediate student support. The School of Music alumnus has supported Fullerton for more than 30 years, including through a President’s Scholars endowment.
