Grande Ronde Hospital has announced that it raised $8.5 million to support facility expansion and healthcare improvements at its La Grande, Oregon campus, serving a rural and underserved region. Funds from the four-year campaign will back construction of a 96,000-square-foot surgical building and includes $3.7 million to purchase and operate a robotic surgical system to perform minimally invasive procedures. Grande Ronde will also expand its radiology, nuclear medicine, and imaging services to strengthen long-term regional healthcare access and delivery. The campaign received more than 11,700 gifts and pledges, including nearly 11,000 donations of $100 or less.
