Chan Soon-Shiong Foundation commits $10M to Africa CDC for Ebola response in Congo and Uganda

The Chan Soon-Shiong Family Foundation has announced a $10 million commitment to the Africa Centres for Disease Control and Prevention and its partner nonprofits to support the coordinated response to the Bundibugyo Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Uganda. The funding will help expand disease surveillance, contact tracing, case management, laboratory capacity, and protection for frontline healthcare workers. The commitment comes as the outbreak has spread across borders and public health authorities have declared regional and international emergencies.  Related
