Crawford family $6M backs CU Boulder push to expand student-athlete wellness and academic support

The University of Colorado Boulder has announced a $6 million multiyear commitment from the Jeff and Orsi Crawford through their family foundation, to bolster the school’s athletics programs. The three-year gift will strengthen student-athlete support, coaching resources, and revenue-sharing flexibility, while sustaining the Crawford Family WHOLE Student-Athlete Program, which delivers wellness, academic, and career development support. Half of the funding will endow the athletics director’s discretionary fund with the remainder of the award expanding the program across physical, mental, and leadership services for athletes through a performance-driven collegiate sports landscape shift.
