Roger Bacon High School, a private Catholic school in Cincinnati, Ohio, has announced a $2.7 million bequest from alumnus Ronald Dauwe (‘53) who died in 2025 to support scholarships, fine arts and community-building initiatives, and campus modernization. The planned estate gift, the largest in the school’s history, will also strengthen a religious scholars program, annual pilgrimages to the San Juan Bautista Franciscan mission in California, and faith-based service and immersion opportunities. Dauwe previously helped establish the school’s Carol Dauwe Fine Arts Center.
