The Pathways Adult Learning Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma, has announced a $1 million grant from the J.E. and L.E. Mabee Foundation to support the center’s new permanent facility for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The matching award was unlocked after Pathways raised $2 million in community support well ahead of the foundation’s challenge deadline. The funding is part of a broader $13 million capital campaign–now 93% complete–that will fund renovation and construction of a fully accessible campus with expanded classrooms, enhanced life-skills programming, and increased capacity to serve more adults in a purpose-built learning environment.
