Ronald McDonald House of Southwestern Ontario has received C$3 million ($2.2 million) from the Stephanie and Barry Zekelman Foundation, marking the largest single gift in the local chapter’s history. The funding will support a major expansion, nearly doubling capacity to better serve families of hospitalized children. The facility will address rising demand, which has already left families without accommodations, enabling more families to stay close to children during treatment while reducing financial and emotional strain.
