UC Davis doubles annual fundraising with $676M to fuel research, health, and education 

UC Davis has announced $676.2 million in awards and commitments to expand student opportunities, research, health care, faculty excellence and campus facilities. The record fundraising total, generated through 56,153 gifts from 29,668 donors during fiscal 2025–26, was propelled by landmark commitments including $120 million from the Weill Family Foundation and $75 million from Kathy Chiao and Kenneth Hao for veterinary medicine, accelerating transformative research, education and clinical care.
