Yeshiva U receives $12.5M from Alex and Diana Tsigutkin for electrical and computer engineering

Alex Tsigutkin, founder and former CEO of AxiomSL, and his wife, Diana, have awarded $12.5 million to Yeshiva University in New York City to establish a named electrical and computer engineering program. The commitment will create a new undergraduate pathway into the university’s graduate computer science and engineering programs, fund $25,000 scholarships for at least 10 students annually, and support equipping of new classrooms and laboratories. The program will focus on machine learning, electronics, and wireless communications while strengthening STEM education and expanding academic partnerships with universities in Israel.
