Sachs Foundation awards $2.6M in college scholarships for Black youth in Colorado

Colorado’s Sachs Foundation has announced more than $2.6 million in scholarships to 65 Black students statewide. Founded in 1931 by Henry Sachs, the foundation has spent 95 years supporting Black students through scholarships, mentorship, and leadership development programs. The awards help students pursue undergraduate and graduate degrees while advancing opportunities amid ongoing challenges facing diversity and inclusion initiatives. The foundation has also supported Black youth mentoring and efforts to increase Black educator representation in Colorado classrooms.
