Ohio’s University of Cincinnati College of Medicine has received a $15 million bequest from the estate of alumnus George G. Bemis, Jr., (MD ’64) to support the Thomas F. Boat, MD Endowed Chair. The gift will strengthen faculty leadership recruitment, clinical research, and academic excellence in medicine. The endowed chair provides flexible funding for high-impact priorities across the college’s medical education and health care programs. The estate gift will also advance physician training and innovation in patient care.
