The William and Barbara Martin Foundation has awarded $38.15 million to Thomas Aquinas College, marking the largest gift in the Catholic liberal arts school’s 55-year history. The funding includes $15 million to expand student financial aid and $2.5 million for operating expenses supporting the college’s campuses in Northfield, Massachusetts, and Santa Paula, California. The contribution builds on nearly $2 million in prior giving from longtime supporters the late William and Barbara Martin and will strengthen affordability and institutional stability while extending the impact of the school’s Catholic liberal education model.
