The New York-based Siegel Family Endowment, established by Two Sigma co-founder David Siegel, has announced $14 million in grants to organizations advancing learner-centered education, computing equity, and community-focused technology initiatives. Recipients include Education Reimagined, EdTrust, GovLab, Last Mile Education Fund, and the ECEP Alliance, with investments focused on AI literacy, K–12 computer science access, nonprofit AI capacity, and inclusive STEM pathways. The awards aim to strengthen the infrastructure, policy, and leadership networks needed to scale equitable education systems and responsible technology adoption. A portion of the funding will also launch NYU GovLab’s Questions Lab, focused on developing inquiry-driven approaches to problem-solving and innovation.
