University of Guelph receives $37M to expand business school and boost real-world training

The University of Guelph in Ontario has announced a C$51 million ($37 million) gift from the Angel Gabriel Foundation, led by donors Stu and Kim Lang, to the Gordon S. Lang School of Business and Economics to expand the real-world student opportunities. The award will fund a new student-focused facility and launch the LANG GoodWorks program, providing paid nonprofit internships. The gift aims to expand experiential learning and prepare graduates for responsible leadership in an evermore-complex global economy. The largest donation to a Canadian business school, the award strengthens the university’s ability to attract top talent and scale programs linking business training with real-world impact.
