Oller family commits $5M to Temple U to launch Rule of Law Center advancing civic engagement and democracy

Temple University in Philadelphia has announced a $5 million commitment from alumni Richard and Amy Oller to the Beasley School of Law. The award will establish the Oller Center for the Rule of Law, advancing democratic governance, civic engagement, and legal scholarship. The funding will support programs focused on strengthening the rule of law through research, public initiatives, fellowships, and student training aimed at reinforcing democratic institutions and civic trust nationwide. One of the law school’s largest gifts, the award will bolster long-term operations, anchoring Temple as a national hub for advancing democracy.
