West Texas A&M raises $175M for scholarships, professorships, recruitment, and research

West Texas A&M University has raised at $175M via its One West campaign, including nearly $50M for scholarships and endowed professorships. Anchored by an $80M lead gift from Engler Foundation, the effort doubles endowed scholarship funding from $2M to $4M annually, now supporting 2,000 students. Structured as a comprehensive campaign with significant endowment support, it also expands endowed faculty roles from 26 to 109, strengthening recruitment, research, and long-term capacity while reducing student debt and broadening access to higher education.
