Wesleyan College alumna and trustee Alexis Bighley awards $1M to expand leadership programming

Wesleyan College in Macon, Georgia, has announced a $1M gift from alumna and trustee Alexis Xides Bighley in support of the school’s $61M multiyear fundraising She Will initiative to increase student access, strengthen campus life, and prepare future women leaders through enhanced academic and co-curricular opportunities, which has raised $42M to date. The latest award will help expand leadership development programs including the Wesleyan Leadership Lab, the CEO Institute, and Wolf-Den Pitch Contest, providing hands-on training and entrepreneurial experience at the private liberal arts college for women founded in 1836.
