$12M Asbjornson alumni family gift to University of Tulsa fuels scholarships and experiential learning

The alumni family of Scott Asbjornson, through their foundation, has committed a $12 million gift to Oklahoma’s University of Tulsa to expand student access and success through a suite of endowed funds. Structured primarily as endowments, the investment will fund undergraduate and graduate scholarships, summer tuition support, global study, and experiential learning opportunities. Priority will go to students from Montana and Tulsa-area transfers. The funding aims to remove financial barriers, accelerate degree completion, and strengthen workforce readiness, particularly in engineering, business, and technology fields, positioning more students to graduate with real-world experience and leadership skills.
