The University of Nebraska Foundation has announced it raised a record $532.8 million in private support in fiscal 2026, surpassing last year’s $416.6 million–a 28% increase year-over-year. Support from 58,433 donors supporting campuses and affiliated institutions across the University of Nebraska system. The awards will fund scholarships, faculty support, research, academic programs, and capital projects, including $243.2 million directed to the UN–Lincoln, $131.2 million to UNMC/Nebraska Medicine, $108 million to UN-Omaha, $11.5 million to UN-Kearney, and $928,098 to the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture. The gifts also established 116 endowed funds for student programming and 28 for faculty support.
