After an August 2025 episode featuring farm animal welfare advocate Lewis Bollard, Patel launched a FarmKind fundraising campaign that raised $2.3 million, alongside an initial $250,000 matching commitment. The broader donor movement has since attracted contributions from AI employees, founders, and investors, supporting efforts to address factory farming through philanthropy.
