Global Citizen and FIFA have announced grants from the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund to 31 community-based organizations across 18 countries to expand access to education and sport for more than 400,000 underserved children. The grant initiative–part of an effort to build a permanent legacy beyond this summer’s FIFA World Cup–has awarded between $50,000 and $250,000 to each organization including AfriKids (Ghana), Food Education Fund (New York City) and Fundación Pies Descalzos (Colombia), The funding boosts the fund’s total awards to $60 million to 58 organizations since its launch in 2025.
