West Virginia University has announced its 2026 Day of Giving organized by the WVU Foundation raised a record $22 million from more than 11,000 gifts in 24 hours. The initiative has now raised over $164 million in nine years. The funds will support scholarships, academic programs, healthcare, research, and campus initiatives systemwide, with a strong focus on flexible, unrestricted student aid across the Morgantown, Keyser, and Beckley campuses. Notable contributions include $3 million from Syd Peng and $2 million from Hamid Moghadam and Tina Moghadam.
