Andy Warhol Foundation awards $5M to 78 visual arts groups including 33 first-time grantees

The Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts in New York City has announced $5.17 million in grants to 78 organizations supporting visual arts programs. The Spring 2026 awards advance exhibitions, curatorial research, public programming, and artist-centered initiatives while launching a new Project Grants for Small-Scale Organizations program. The funding includes support for 33 first-time grantees, including Wave Farm (Acra, New York–$80,000) for its experimental time-based art. Other recipients include Golden Dome School (Los Angeles–$30,000), BlackStar (Philadelphia–$100,000), the UCLA Hammer Museum (Los Angeles–$100,000), and the American Folk Art Museum (Long Island City, New York–$50,000).
