Els for Autism Foundation in, created by golf great Ernie Els and his wife Liezl, has received a $5 million gift from Ross and Sue Sprovieri to support construction of a specialized autism recreation complex and aquatics center as part of the foundation’s 26-acre Els Center of Excellence in Jupiter, Florida. The facility will expand services, adding a teaching kitchen, movement studio, basketball area, and water safety programming. The aquatic center–scheduled to open in 2027–will support programs that address elevated drowning risks among people with autism through structured swim instruction and safety training.
