Fort Wayne’s Bishop Luers High School receives $2M alumnus gift for campus modernization

Bishop Luers High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, has received a $2 million gift from alumnus John Ward (‘73), marking the largest one-time award in the school’s 68-year history. The gift boosts the school’s $11 million campaign to fund its endowment as well as campus-wide modernization efforts to accommodate a growing enrollment while expanding opportunities for students and community programming. The commitment includes a $1 million matching challenge–in memory of Ward’s late brother, Michael (‘87)–intended to encourage additional support from alumni and their families.
