Rockefeller Foundation launches Africa Big Bets fellowships to accelerate and scale local solutions

The Rockefeller Foundation has announced the launch of its first Africa Big Bets fellows cohort, awarding an intensive five-month program to 10 changemakers from Ghana, Kenya, Malawi, Nigeria, South Africa, and Tanzania. The fellowships are designed to scale locally led solutions in health, clean energy, food security, climate resilience, financial inclusion, and migration systems across Africa. The program provides funding, mentorship, and global networks to accelerate impact and aims to expand scalable innovation and close critical development gaps affecting energy access and economic opportunity continent-wide.
