Flagstaff Family Food Center has announced a $1 million gift from an anonymous donor to expand access to nutritious food across rural and Tribal communities in northern Arizona. The three-year initiative will increase distribution frequency, establish regular deliveries in underserved areas, and reduce transportation barriers for residents who cannot reach the center’s Flagstaff warehouse. Funding will purchase three refrigerated 26-foot trucks, pallet jacks, food and operational supplies, and additional staffing. The gift is the largest one-time donation in the center’s 35-year history, following a $650,000 gift from the same unnamed donor last year.
