The Broward Health system in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, has announced it raised nearly $3.5 million at its 13th annual ball and gala. The event brought together more than 1,400 donors and community leaders in support of efforts to expand access to care, advance medical education, and improve specialty services across Florida’s Broward County. Proceeds will help fund new clinical technology, graduate medical education programming, and enhanced patient care capacity. Major contributions included a $700,000 anonymous gift and a $500,000 award from Broward Health Foundation chair Mark Kent.
