Park-Pagliuca Fund commits $10M to accelerate Long COVID diagnostics and treatment trials

The Park-Pagliuca Fund–a collaboration between the families of Todd Park and Steve Pagliuca–has awarded $10 million to PolyBio Research Foundation in Medford, Massachusetts, to advance the Long COVID Cure Initiative and accelerate diagnostics, clinical trials, and treatment development for patients. The fund is also engaging other funders to match the award to generate an additional $10 million in funding to strengthen biomarker validation and to build a national diagnostics-guided clinical trials network. The initiative aims to close the translation gap between research and care, delivering faster diagnostics, targeted therapies, and scalable infrastructure, with an eye toward future efforts addressing other chronic diseases such as Lyme and chronic fatigue syndrome.
