Gwynedd Mercy University raises $35.3M to boost scholarships, student success, and healthcare training

Gwynedd Mercy University in Pennsylvania has raised $35.3 million through a multiyear campaign from nearly 2,200 donors that will fund expanded student access, healthcare innovation, and mission-driven education. The campaign was anchored by a $10 million award from the Maguire Foundation. The funding will bolster scholarships, academic programs, and capital projects, including a center to address healthcare workforce shortages. The campaign has already driven a 68% increase in scholarship funding and reinforced the university’s long-term financial sustainability.
