GE Aerospace launches $30M global push to train 10K workers to build next-gen manufacturing talent

GE Aerospace Foundation has announced a $30 million multiyear commitment to workforce training partners across the United States and worldwide to support advanced manufacturing skills development and close critical labor gaps. Initial grantees include Calhoun Community College, in Huntsville, Alabama; Tarrant County College, in Fort Worth, Texas; and Cincinnati State Technical and Community College in Ohio. Through its “Lifting Futures” initiative, the funding will expand training capacity, reduce workforce barriers to entry, and improve job placement, aiming to train 10,000 workers by 2030 and strengthen long-term global talent pipelines.
