Mandel Foundation awards $50M to Cleveland Clinic to expand trauma care and digital access

The Jack, Joseph and Morton Mandel Supporting Foundation has donated $50 million to launch Cleveland Clinic’s Community Bridge to Care Initiative, aimed at improving access to healthcare for Cleveland residents. The funding supports three core strategies: a connected care system streamlining patient flow and provider coordination, a “Digital Front Door” using AI to direct patients to the right care quickly, and a Level I Trauma Center providing 24/7 advanced care for adults and children. The initiative enhances emergency, trauma, and community health services while continuing the Mandel Foundation’s long-term commitment to improving quality of life in Cleveland.
