University of Maryland Greenebaum Comprehensive Cancer Center in Baltimore has received a $5.5M gift from the Marlene and Stewart Greenebaum Family Foundation to advance cancer research, patient care, and survivorship services across Maryland and the region.The funding supports immunotherapy research such as CAR T-cell treatments for solid tumors, expands survivorship care including wearable tech and nutrition programs, and strengthens clinical innovation ahead of the center’s 2026 move to UM’s Stoler Center for Advanced Medicine. The gift extends a 30-year family legacy in cancer care philanthropy.
