Peninsula College in Port Angeles, Washington–part of the state’s community and technical college system–has received a $3.765 million bequest from the estate of Dorothy Ann Field to expand financial and academic support for students. The award is among the largest in the foundation’s 65-year history and will strengthen educational access and student success initiatives. The existing Field Scholarship Endowment will be allocated $243,371.37 boosting its assets to $1 million, while $3.52 million will establish a fund to support learning, access, success, and the overall student experience.
