The Aspen Institute has announced a three-year $15 million award from the Walton Family Foundation to strengthen the Washington, D.C.-based think tank’s Center for Rising Generations and advance education nationwide. The commitment includes $12 million for the Center’s endowment–to be matched by the Bezos Family Foundation–and $3 million to launch an intergenerational leadership initiative to drive consensus on education innovation. The investments will also expand support for youth leadership and civic engagement while helping scale collaborations that connect young people with education leadership opportunities.
