At San Diego concert, Curebound and P!NK raise $8.25M for cancer research and treatment

Curebound, a San Diego-based cancer research funder, raised more than $8.25 million through its May 2026 concert at Petco Park headlined by the singer P!NK. The event drew over 25,000 attendees, including cancer survivors invited by the Manchester Family Foundation. The funding will support cancer research across multiple tumor types, building on Curebound’s $51.5 million in grants supporting 170 studies. The latest total boosts the concert series to more than $28 million raised over four years. Proceeds will fund expanded clinical trials and research programs focused on improving cancer prevention, detection, and treatment while strengthening long-term scientific funding pipelines amid uncertain national research support.
