TIME’s 2026 Philanthropy 100 spotlights donors driving change and shaping global giving

TIME has released its 2026 TIME100 Philanthropy list, recognizing influential donors, advocates, and nonprofit leaders shaping global giving across education, economic mobility, health, and sustainability. Time’s print edition includes one cover featuring Idris Elba and his wife, Sabrina, noted for their work on youth violence, agriculture, and sustainable energy, and one with Michael and Susan Dell who committed $6.25 billion to investment accounts for U.S. children. The list, organized by category includes “leaders” (featuring Ford Foundation president Heather Gerken and Julián Castro); “titans” (MacKenzie Scott and Elton John & David Furnish); ‘trailblazers” (Center for Disaster Philanthropy CEO Patricia McIlreavy and Kate Capshaw & Steven Spielberg); and “innovators” (Hasso Plattner and Shakira).
