Boston Celtics award $2M community grants to New England nonprofits for youth and family programs

The Boston Celtics Shamrock Foundation has announced $2 million in Fast Break Fund grants supporting youth and family services across New England, with a focus on education and trauma-informed care. The awards include a combined $1.2 million for Horizons for Homeless Children, which supports homeless families, and Square One, which provides early education, workforce development and family services. An additional $670,000 will be distributed to nine other nonprofits for community outreach programs. The fund is designed to deliver rapid, flexible support to organizations serving vulnerable children and families across the region.
