Bukhman $10M fuels Yale Child Study Center programs focus on youth emotional well-being

Yale School of Medicine has announced a $10 million grant from Bukhman Philanthropies to the Yale Child Study Center in New Haven, Connecticut, supporting the Center for Emotional Intelligence and its anxiety and mood disorders program. The award backs research, digital tool development, and clinical trials to develop and scale evidence-based interventions for children’s mental health. Key efforts include expanding emotional intelligence programs, testing parent-focused anxiety treatments, and addressing the impact of social media. The funding aims to improve access to care, equip families with practical tools, and strengthen emotional well-being outcomes for children and adolescents on a global scale.
