The University of Missouri-Kansas City has received a $3 million joint award from the Regnier and Marion and Henry Bloch family foundations in support of the Regnier Institute for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. The funding will expand student venture creation and free business support for local founders, strengthening the offerings of the institute’s Consulting Lab, enabling students and faculty to provide pro bono assistance to area entrepreneurs. The award aims to build a deeper startup pipeline, give early-stage founders practical help, and cement UMKC as a regional engine for entrepreneurship and innovation.
