Ford Foundation Selects 32 Global Fellows to drive social justice change and address inequality worldwide

The Ford Foundation in New York City has unveiled its 2026 cohort of 32 Ford Global Fellows, expanding a network of over 150 social justice leaders worldwide. The foundation launched the ten-year, $50 million fellowship in 2020 to empower changemakers tackling systemic inequality. Fellows—spanning artists, scientists, lawyers, and activists—receive mentorship, resources, and a collaborative platform to innovate solutions in their communities across Africa, Asia, the Americas, and the Middle East. The latest fellows include Beinerth Chitiva Mosquera (Colombia), director of the youthfocused English Learning Center; Chinenye Uwanaka (Nigeria), founder of Firma, a law and policy advisory firm; and Darshana Joshi (India), CEO of VigyanShaala International, a STEM education initiative for underserved youth.
