Wells Fargo has announced a $6M philanthropic investment through the Wells Fargo Foundation to support six nonprofits in Charlotte, North Carolina. The funding will advance affordable housing development, workforce training, and small business growth, including 27 new housing units, expanded CodePath programs at local universities, and initiatives supporting 24 entrepreneurs. It also includes plans for a full-service grocery store in a historically underserved area. Structured as coordinated grants, the investment builds on more than $48M deployed locally since 2020, reinforcing a long-term, community-focused strategy to expand economic opportunity and stability in West Charlotte.
