Western Michigan University has announced a $17M bequest from The Stan Lucas Trust to the Haworth College of Business. The award, facilitated by alumnus Dan Grady, will fund experience-driven learning initiatives in Kalamazoo, Michigan, including hands-on projects, entrepreneurship programs, Silicon Valley immersions, and business curriculum development. The gift combines an endowment and immediate funding to support interdisciplinary collaboration, technological innovation, and career readiness, giving students a competitive edge in the evolving global economy. The gift is the largest in the college’s history.
