The National Park Foundation has announced grants totaling $5.5 million to support 42 NPF Service corps projects nationwide, engaging youth, young adults, and veterans while advancing critical work in national parks. Recipients include the American Conservation Experience, supporting recreation access and historic preservation at Christiansted National Historic Site; American YouthWorks, improving infrastructure and access at Hot Springs National Park; and Conservation Legacy, piloting a fellowship program with the NPS historic preservation training center. The awards also include $1.5 million for 12 high-priority infrastructure projects.
