East Idaho credit unions launch $100M “zero-down” mortgage initiative for first-time homebuyers

Four East Idaho credit unions—Connections Credit Union, Frontier Credit Union, Idaho Central Credit Union, and Westmark Credit Union—have partnered with the GoWest Credit Union Association to launch a $100 million program initiative offering 100% financing for eligible first-time homebuyers. Supported in part by a grant from the GoWest Foundation, the initiative provides zero-down-payment mortgages with no private mortgage insurance, no origination fees, and competitive fixed interest rates. Participating credit unions will also offer homebuyer education and financial wellness resources to help expand affordable homeownership opportunities in East Idaho.
