V Foundation awards early-career scientists $11.2M to advance translational cancer research 

The V Foundation for Cancer Research has announced an $11.2 million grant to 14 researchers at National Cancer Institute-Designated Cancer Centers across 10 states to accelerate cancer research and early-phase clinical trials. The four-year funding supports seven V Scholar awards and seven translational grants, each providing $800,000 to advance fundamental discoveries and bench-to-bedside projects. The initiative aims to strengthen early-career and translational research, speed development of innovative therapies and biomarkers, expand treatment options, and improve patient outcomes across multiple cancer types, including immunotherapy, breast, lung, brain, and endometrial cancers.
