The Rockefeller Foundation has announced a $4 million commitment to Alder Point Capital Management to expand climate-resilient stewardship of U.S. farmland and timberland. The funding will help Alder Point acquire and improve undermanaged working lands by partnering with local farmers, foresters, and land operators to restore soil, water, and forest health. The commitment supports regenerative land management practices designed to strengthen biodiversity, increase long-term land productivity, and create economic opportunities in rural communities. The collaboration also advances Rockefeller’s Good Jobs for America initiative by promoting sustainable employment, resilient natural resources, and stronger rural economies through mission-aligned investment.
